Campervan Conversion Specialist

Are you a skilled cabinet maker and woodworker with a passion for crafting high-quality campervan conversions? We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team.

Brown Bird and Company are a design led, customer focussed campervan conversion business. We believe in providing our customers with unique and exceptional experiences on the road. We love building beautiful, practical and unique campervans with great attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. We are currently booked up until 2026. Our workshop is located near Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities

Utilise your expertise in cabinet making and woodworking to create custom campervan furniture and interiors.

CNC skills would be beneficial or a willingness to learn CNC skills is an essential part of this role.

Follow project briefs diligently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, ensuring all work meets our high standards.

Dedication to producing high-quality work and taking pride in your craft.

Apply strong problem-solving abilities to help develop new ideas and help prevent any potential future issues.

Safely operate power tools in a busy workshop environment.

Additional practical skills, plumbing, gas and 12-volt electrical systems would be beneficial although not essential as we can provide full training. 

Excellent communication and a willingness to collaborate within a team environment.

You will be open to learn new skills as well as helping to develop members of the team, we like to ensure all team members have opportunities to develop by helping each other.

Uphold a positive and friendly demeanour within our team and when interacting with customers.

Rate

Dependant on experience.

Self Employed Basis initially with employed options in the future for the right person.
