Shipping

At Brown Bird & Co we offer reliable shipping services at a reasonable price. We use DHL 1-2 day service. The majority of orders will arrive the next day if the order is placed before 2pm however we cannot guarantee next day. In our experience however they usually arrive the next day.

If you are located in Scotland or Northern Island we will use Royal Mail, deliveries may take as little longer.

To ensure that your orders reach you as quickly as possible all orders have a tracking number which will be sent to your email or SMS if you add your mobile phone number. Estimated delivery times are available via the tracking number.

United Kingdom

Free Shipping Delivered in 1-2 working days (Mon-Fri) on orders £50.00 and up.

Standard Shipping Delivered in 1-2 working days (Mon-Fri) on orders up to £49.99 is £3.99
(UK Mainland Only)

Please note after dispatch the delivery address on all services cannot be changed.

European and International Shipping

Sorry but we are currently not shipping to Europe and International Countries at this time.

Discount Codes and Shipping

We may offer discount codes from time to time. Shipping options and prices are calculated after any active discount code. Applying a discount code can affect shipping options and rates.

Missed Deliveries

Your local DHL depot will hold your parcel for two weeks before your order is automatically returned to Brown Bird & Co. Any parcels returned to us will be refunded minus any shipping extra charges.

Late Shipments

If your order has taken longer than expected to arrive then please contact us at: hello@brownbirdandcompany.co.uk or call us on 07790174118. We will do our best to help sort the issue. 

Bank Holidays

We ship deliveries on working days only. This does not include Bank Holidays so please allow extra time if ordering over bank holidays as we love to get out on adventures too.

Packaging

We use a minimum amount of recycled packaging to safely ship your orders. Please re-use or recycle the packaging where you can. Thank you for helping.

Returns

In addition to your legal rights we allow you to return products if you change your mind. Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase. You will need to cover the cost of postage for returning unwanted goods. 

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Send it back to us, please contact us first so we can provide you a return address and we know to expect a returned item.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) :
- Any item not in its original condition, has damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and goods are checked, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@brownbirdandcompany.co.uk and state your order number.

Sale Items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@brownbirdandcompany.co.uk so we can send you a return address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item to us. We will refund the shipping costs to you if the defective or damaged product has a manufacturing issue.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £20, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
