We are Expanding and are on the hunt for a Workshop Assistant! Do want to build campoervans like Nevis below?
We are looking for a versatile trades person to join our Brown Bird and Company team.
We have a state of the art workshop based near Thirsk, North Yorkshire and have a busy diary of campervan commission builds along with our own campervan projects being booked out into 2024.
The most important pre-requisite is a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and complete work to a high standard. We are a small, friendly and highly motivated team who live and breath campervans.
The role will entail:

Decorating
-
Carpentry
-
Joinery
-
Plumbing
-
Insulation
-
Metal work
-
Use of power tools safely
-
Stock control
The applicant need not have experience in all of the above skills as we can tailor the role for the right person but a practical head and some DIY experience is essential. Ideally you will have worked on campervans previously but that is not essential.
The role will be on a self employed basis and we are flexible on full or part time hours but we need a minimum commitment of 3 days per week initially.
Rate of pay dependant on experience.
