Our live edge serving boards are treated and oiled with Osmo Top Oil. The great thing about solid wood boards is when they get scratched and worn you can just sand them down and re-oil them again!
We've had live edge worktops in our campervans and we love it so much we decided to do these matching serving platters. Live edge is durable when looked after however wood being natural there can be changes so please do look after your hand crafted serving boards.
Each board is unique and with that natural imperfections that come with solid wood. Some may have all of the live edge intact and others may be part present Live edge can be fragile and care must be taken with it if you want the edge to stay on. So please treat it gently, no dropping on floors or worktops!
If the live edge gets knocked off you can can either use wood glue and clamp it back on and then sand to make perfect again or leave it off and just sand the edge and use it as a solid wood board instead (these are still beautiful!)
Live Edge Serving Board Size Guide

The serving platters will measure somewhere between 40 - 50cm (L) x 16-20cm (W) X 2cm (D)
Live Edge Serving Board Care Instructions
- Hand wash only, wash with warm soapy water and immediately dry.
- Do not leave soaking in water.
- Not dishwasher safe.
- Oil the board regularly - we use Osmo top oil (Clear)
- Store the board on a flat surface to prevent warping
- Do not leave wet items on the board for long periods otherwise they may stain the board.
Oil the board regularly – you cannot cause any damage by over-oiling. Store the board on a flat surface (not on its edge) DO NOT leave items such as cheese on the board for long periods as the moisture and oils can get into the wood and stains may develop. However if this does happen then lightly sand the wood and apply a food safe oil.
