Our aim is to give the best information, the best equipment advice and provide lots of inspiration to fellow van lifers, campervan enthusiasts and adventurers, no matter your outdoor experience.
We also build and manage websites including SEO and content creation.
The Brown Bird Instagram account over the past two years has documented our self build campervan and subsequent travels. The account has grown to over 26,600+ followers and we are grateful to all that have followed our journey. The design of the interior has captured the imagination of many people around the world hoping to create the van builds of their dreams. The campervan was built with the help of YouTube and Instagram and we are grateful for the instructional van build videos and advice received at the time. It’s a great community to be involved with and people have always been so helpful. We have through Instagram tried to answer every question we’ve received. Our aim now is to build the ‘go to’ website for anybody wanting to self build their own campervan, provide full time van life inspiration and those wanting amazing outdoor adventures.

Jacqui Brown is the campervan dwelling, adventure seeking, designer and web developer behind Brown Bird & Co. She loves being on top of a mountain or parking up in a beautiful location, popping the coffee pot on the stove and taking in the views.
Building a campervan was a dream Jacqui had for many years and she is a great believer that amazing design can be achieved on a small budget. Often the best ideas come from thinking about practical and imaginative ways to solve a problem.
